Hey Everyone. This is My Official Westerville North Wrestling page. I am going to keep you all updated on all of the warrior news and upcoming events and stories. I also have a list of open tournaments in my Reply Section. Please keep e-mailing me and giving me ideas for the page. Thanks.
The 2003 season seems to be the turning point of the wrestling program at Westerville North. With the return of 9 seniors, Dexter, Ian, Ryan, Brad, Paul, Todd, Austin, Pat, and Chris, The lineup seems stronger than ever. Juniors and sophomores fill the gaps in the lineup and have proven to be worthy of competition all year so far. With a tournament win at Medina and many dual meet victories, including the crosstown rivals Westerville South, the team seems to be stepping it up. At the Wadsworth Invitational, Paul Jang placed 8th, Brad Sheppard placed 6th, Ian Klein Placed 3rd, and Dexter Hopkins placed 2nd. The team placed 10th in the tournament, seven spots better than the previous year under McSwords. The team has recieved the best help possible this year from unarguably the best coaching staff that could be assembled. The year looks to be promising, and has more potential than ever.
